Laundry Room / Utility Room
The 'utility' part of this room houses the solar
hot water heater tank; the inverter, charge controllers, and batteries
for the PV system; and the blower unit for the geothermal heat pump. The
'laundry' portion of the room allows for a stacked, full-sized washer/dryer
unit, hampers, and shelves for laundry soap, etc. A large bench/rack doubles
as a home for the batteries and a laundry folding table. The floor is
dark tile to take advantage of the room's southern exposure (heat-capturing
potential!).
