Owsley Lake
Because Owsley Lake serves as the main reservoir
for Berea's water supply, usage restrictions are designed to keep
the water clean. Powerboats and swimming are not allowed, but fishing
(from the shoreline or non-fueled boats) and canoeing are allowed.
The north-side access to the lake features a picnic area; the south-side
access has a boat ramp.

Owsley Fork's rocky banks add to the view from
the back yard—and its waters provide another level of water
