LYRICS FROM "NO IMAGINATION"
One sweet abbreviation
Sleeping like the dead.
You think you're pretty, well, so do I.
You came to me but, passion eyes,
Got no imagination to clutter up my head.
Eyes that mirror innocence and cannot sense the changes...
Let's have another drink, dear, before we get deranged.

Album Review: Blondie's second album is a mix of catchy new-wavish pop with the occasional semi-punk snippet thrown in for good measure. Released in 1977, the album had much more in common with the emerging melodic new-wave phenomenon of the time than with the grating punk mish-mash that preceded it. Blondie would have to wait until their third album to achieve breakout singles like "Heart of Glass," but this album has plenty to feast your ears on. Standout tracks include, "Bermuda Triangle Blues," "I'm Always Touched By Your Presence, Dear," "No Imagination," and the topper, "Poet's Problem."
