Spinal Tap — This Is Spinal Tap — album review
. . . featuring lyrics for “Stonehenge”

“Stonehenge” – Spinal Tap, from the album This Is Spinal Tap |

Stonehenge, where the demons dwell;
Where the banshees live and they do live well;
Stonehenge, Where a man is a man and the children
Dance to the pipes of Pan;
Stonehenge—
Tis a magic place
Where the moon doth rise
With a dragon's face...
Stonehenge!

Album Review: What do you do when you can't decide whether you want to perform heavy-metal rock or mock it? Well, you do both, and you do both well. At least, that was Spinal Tap's approach. This is the soundtrack album to the movie "This is Spinal Tap" and, lo and behold, these songs stand the test of time! A track like "Stonehenge" could have easily had a home on any album by Blue Oyster Cult. Another standout track, "Listen To Me (The Flower People)," would have been at home on an album by The Nice, The Electric Prunes, or any other 1960s flower-pop-psyc band. This album is a parody gone classic!
