Bill Black: The Banks Have Blood on Their Hands —
13 Jul 2013 —
Bill Black reviews the definition of control fraud, calling it the most lethal type of crime on the planet. The solution? Make sure that the cheaters don't prosper but instead end up in jail. He finds some bankster activities particularly odious, such as HSBC's drug-money laundering, which supported activities that included torture and murder. Black calls the Dodd-Frank reforms useless in practical terms; notes that "too big to prosecute" is now the officially stated policy of the Department of Justice; and laments the gratuitous insanity of the austereans.

He thinks the levels of momentum and force involved are so great that efforts by good-minded people to effect course corrections are unlikely to succeed—the current experiment will simply have to play out until it fails due to its own internal impossibilities.
